Whew… It’s been mighty hot out there lately! Even though the kids have gone back to school, summer is definitely not over, the temperature just keeps going up! One fun summer fact...The frequency of a cricket's chirps fluctuates with the temperature. If you count a cricket's chirps for 14 seconds and add 40, you will have the approximate outdoor temperature (in Fahrenheit). Pretty cool huh?
